In science we have continued our work on materials and today had the task of picking the right material to make a pair of curtains. We loved testing each material describing it's properties with our key vocabulary.

Talking about mental health in Cross Fell

We loved our science session this week investigating which materials were absorbent. We got to use timers, pipettes and magnifying glasses to conduct our experiment and were brilliant at using a range of key vocabulary to explain our learning. Great job everyone!
7/8 Higher maths
Our year 7/8 higher group have been doing some fantastic work on equations, inequalities and sequences. They have been able to multiply out and factorise brackets.
