9B Translation task using ICT
Today we tried something a bit different - 9B typed up their translation task into Word, rather than writing in books like they usually do. Most agreed that it was easier to type than to write. They will now send their work to Miss Johnson to be marked and stuck into their books.
Christmas market decorations
Christmas market decorations have been made by the Art club and year 7. These will be decorated and available to buy from the Christmas market.

Year 8 History - African American Legacy
Year 8 have now come to the end of their 'Reacting to History: Obama to Slavery' scheme of work in History. To summarise their learning, students were set the challenge of creating a visual memorial to the history and legacy of African Americans from slavery to the modern day.

Year 7 pyjama party
What a fun night year 7 had last night at their pyjama party. The afternoon kicked off with games in the school hall, followed by a disco led by various budding DJs and then pizza and chips in Mrs Jones’s catering room. Thank you to year 7 for your enthusiasm and amazing company.
Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)
Year 8 have been exploring hooks and riffs this term. This week, they performed the Eurythmics hit ‘Sweet Dreams’. Some students drummed the steady rhythm on the cajons, others learned the keyboard chords and some sung the melody. Well done year 8!
