Class Welcome

Class 2 provides a welcoming environment where children are encouraged to develop into independent, resilient, and enthusiastic learners. The curriculum of this class is structured around a love of reading. The children are organised in flexible groups, including partners, small groups, whole-class, and even whole-school family learning. Oracy is highlighted as a vital part of classroom interaction, allowing for stimulating debate and the ability to express individual views and opinions.

Children are motivated to take on classroom roles to support their peers and to demonstrate mastery of their learning. The curriculum is both challenging and stimulating, encouraging children to explore their interests and passions.
