Cross Fell thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Culgaith today were we took part in a range of sport's activities with the Action Ants helping us to continue to lead healthy and active lives.

We are extremely fortunate to beable to travel to Culgaith to take part in some Action Ants days with other local schools where we can engage in competitive and co-operative physical activities making new friends and challenging ourselves.

What a super morning we have had mastering our basic movements including running and jumping, developing our  balance, agility and co-ordination on the equipment

Today we learned about the celebration of Eid- al- Fitr. We talked about how the celebration is marked, what different families do and made our own pictures to celebrate.

We have so far awarded 83 reading at home dojos this week- a staggering amount! Well done Cross Fell we are extremely proud of you, keep it up :-)

Cross Fell had a wonderful time at the U Dance Festival in Carlisle dancing alongside a host of other schools. What a fantastic experience for all the children to dance on a professional stage in front of a very appreciative audience.
