We have enjoyed a fabulous day celebrating the King's Coronation today - we loved working in our house groups to take part in different activities in each of the classrooms followed by a delicious buffet lunch where our parents came into school to celebrate this momentous occasion with us.
It has been fantastic to beable to be part of such a historic event and it has really brought our castles topic to life where we have been learning all about Kings and Queens from the past deepening our understanding of the individuals who have contributed to our past and it sets us up nicely for our castle visit coming up in June where we can witness some of the things we have been learning about first hand.
What a great day and thanks to the PTA everyone has a celebratory book mark in their book bags to mark the occasion.
