Wheelchair Basketball at Nenthead
Nat Pattinson of Team GB fame, gave us all an awesome morning up at Nenthead, as we took part in an amazing wheelchair basketball session.
All the children were superb and gave it 100% effort!
Birthday cake, story books and the Northern lights
Fredwina had a great visit to Jai's house on Thursday. It was Jai's Birthday so Fredwina enjoyed Birthday cake and then Jai helped her to learn lots of speedy sounds and read his book before being fortunate enough to witness the Northern lights! What an incredible adventure!
Soil investigation
Middle Fell's Science lesson on Tuesday looking at how soil is formed and how it sustains life. They also conducted an experiment to assess the different properties of different soil samples!
Pumpkins!
Today we introduced our new class story' Pattan's Pumpkin'.
We enjoyed getting hands on with a range of pumpkins of different colours, shapes and sizes and talked about what we already know about pumpkins and what we would like to learn.
We now can't wait to get started with our story and see…
