As part of our Science topic this half term we are looking at seasonal changes and dark nights have formed part of this discussion. Today we were extremely fortunate to welcome PC Joel and PC Ian into class to talk to us about the importance and being bright and being seen when out and about and how to stay safe on the roads. The children were really engaged and asked a range of fantastic questions and we will get to put our knowledge to the test not only in our Science work but also when we go out into Alston to look at the local area as part of our Geography topic.
