At Alston Primary School we work hard to foster a life long love of reading and have our RWI mascots Fred and Fredwina to help us with this mission. Over the past half term Fred and Fredwina have been extremely busy visiting a range of children and have really enjoyed sharing cosy story times and getting out and about with the children, sharing their interests.
Thankyou to all of our parents and carers who wholeheartedly engage with our reading visitors, we love seeing what they have been getting up to and know from the excitement that the children show when their name is chosen to host Fred or Fredwina what a huge hit it is with them so thankyou so much for helping us to keep the magic alive.
