Year 7 students are working through their first topic in history- Roman Britain.
After learning about the extent of the Roman Empire, students moved on to exploring the composition of the Roman army and the day-to-day work, training and equipment of legionary soldiers.
Class 7B thought about the requirements and skills needed to become Roman soldiers, along with the benefits or 'perks' of the job, before creating some recruitment posters.
