Year 11 Study skills with a focus on 9/11

After completing a VAK quiz last week in Citizenship to identify their preferred learning style- Audio, Visual or Kinaesthetic, Year 11 students learnt how to create mind-maps and other visual aids as a revision resource.

They were first given some information about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US to read before completing the associated comprehension activities. They were later guided on how they could extract relevant key facts from the text using coloured highlighters, before working independently to create a one page visual summary of the events and aftermath of 9/11.
