After recapping the effects of alcohol, the law in relation to its sale and supply, and the impact of a addiction last week in Citizenship, Year 10 and 11 students began to learn more about illegal drugs. They discussed some of the reasons why some young people choose to use illegal drugs, the reasons why many choose not to use them and some of the wider implications of illegal drug use. They then looked at the law and the different classifications of drugs, before learning about specific drugs and their effects.
Next lesson we will be exploring 'County Lines', child criminal exploitation and where to go to get further advice and support.
