We are delighted to share our recent Ofsted Inspection Report with you which judged Alston Primary School as “Good” in all categories.
The inspection team praised the inclusive nature of the school as pupils had been clear that everyone is equal, and everyone is welcome. The published report goes on to say that pupils are happy in the school, and they learn in a calm and caring environment.
The report praised our teaching of reading and highlighted the work done to promote a love of reading which we were especially proud of.
We are extremely proud of this result and would like to thank the children, families and staff for their dedication and hard work in making Alston Primary School such a great place.
