We had the privilege of having a special guest in school today!
Miss B came to spend the day with us discussing routes into STEM jobs, the important work currently being undertaken by Scientists and to offer us an insight into life as a woman in STEM. We made sure that time was also made to visit Cross Fell and Flinty Fell to answer questions from pupils. To top it off, she even helped Middle Fell with a series of memorable experiments to show how Scientific concepts can be observed and how important fair tests are to achieving trustworthy findings.
It was a pleasure to see pupils engage so positively today and spark a passion for Science!
